First up is Answer. Voiced by Tomokazu Seki, he stands as Chipp Zanuff’s aide and developed memory powers that enable him to become the Human Database.

Self-taught in ninjutsu, Answer specializes in high-speed attacks that involve strategic placement of business cards, which are coupled with moves that warp him around the stage and a charge attack after holding on to a scroll.

Players taking control of Answer will find a special move called Intellininpou: Ringi no Sho that sets a scroll in mid-air. After holding onto the scroll, players can follow up with other special moves.

Looking over to Intellininpou: Musha Sabi the move can be used by players after Ringi no Sho. This changes the attack making it become a charge attack. Players can also move from a Ringi no Sho to a Ringi no Sho.

Next up is the strong-minded samurai of Japanese descent who contains a hidden weapon where her right arm should be. Baiken, voiced by Mayumi Asano, appeared in previous titles with her “Offensive and Defensive Unity” which is present in Rev 2. Wielding a new technique called “Azami” where she takes a stance to stop the blow of the opponent’s attack, she can make use of different attacks derived from this technique for a renewed battle style.

Although the move Azami requires perfect timing, another move returning from past titles comes Tatami Gaeshi. A projectile attack that shoots up a powerful tatami mat from the ground is noted to be a good move to use from the air, and is useful when fighting mid-distance.

Lastly, Arc System Works will be holding a location test for the game starting January 20th, which will end on the 22nd in Tokyo at Sega Akihabara Building No. 1 and in Osaka at High Tech Land Sega Nishinakajima.
