Microsoft finally made Halo Wars: Definitive Edition available to PC gamers for the first time as part of the pre-order deluxe edition of Halo Wars 2. Both PC and Xbox One gamers can utilize their chief strategic mental prowess on the battlefield using the Spirit of Fire’s resources in the fight against the Covenant. Gamers who want to mess around with the campaign mode and build up their own army in the best way they see fit, there’s an option to grab a cheat trainer for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.
You can grab the cheat trainer for the RTS re-release right now from over on the Cheat Happens download page.
The cheat trainer consists of the five following cheats:
- Super Health
- Low Health
- Max Units
The super health can be used individually on the units you have on the battlefield. This is great if you have a specific unit getting completely obliterated by the opposition and you need some way to even out the odds.
Low health works opposite of super health… stripping a unit of its HP and making it an easy target to kill. You might be thinking why on Earth would you use a low health cheat? Well, it works on enemy AI units… so you can easily lower the health of opponents and take out tough units without having to find a strategy to complete the task.
Max units will boost up your unit numbers in a squad while crates and reactors will amp up your necessary resources to make it easier to grow, upgrade and optimize your forces.
If you haven’t played through Halo Wars before but you wanted to play through the game ahead of putting in time with Halo Wars 2, grabbing the cheat trainer will easily help with burning through the campaign mode quickly so you can get an understanding of the story and the gameplay.
Halo Wars 2 is set to release on February 21st next month on Xbox One and PC.
