Developer Frontwing recently re-released Labyrinth of Grisaia onto Denpasoft, following the release of the visual novel on Steam last year. The Steam release was a censored version featuring the basic story of the characters without any of the tantalizing pornographic images. The unrated version on Denpasoft includes all of the hardcore scenes left out of the Steam version.

DualShockers spotted the news over on the official Denpasoft website. The game is currently available in its unrated form for $22.49, marked down from its original $29.99 price tag, which is how much it currently costs over on the Steam store.

This will likely generate a lot of interest in the game given that this follows closely behind the news from last month in early December when Sekai Project and Frontwing announced in a news post that they’ve lifted restrictions on streaming the Grisaia games, including The Fruit of Grisaia and The Labyrinth of Grisaia

“Frontwing has recently changed their stance on Streaming and Let’s Play YouTube videos for their Grisaia games.

“You are now allowed to play all the games without restrictions with your subscribers.”

The news about the unrated version is likely to go down well with gamers who were originally frustrated about the lack of an unrated or uncensored version of The Labyrinth of Grisaia, which launched back in June of 2016 last year.

Now one thing to keep in mind is that the unrated version on Denpasoft is “unrated” not “uncensored”. There is still mosaic censoring for the visual novel and something you’ll just have to deal with.

Nevertheless, some censoring of the naughty content is better than no naughty content… right?

Besides, there will likely be patches and mods made available for those who want to remove the mosaics.

There’s a process you’ll need to go through in order to install the unrated version of The Labyrinth of Grisaia, so if you do plan on getting that version you’ll need to check out the installation guide over on Sekai Project’s official website, which shows you how to access the unrated version and where to install the files.

If you want to purchase the unrated version of the game, you can do so from the official Denpasoft website.

You have to pay for more for cut content what bullshit is this.

As a golden rule it should be the other way round, cut content should be cheaper, extra cheap like a boycott.

Force censorship via updates is putting the industry to shame.
