Nioh Demo Accomplishments Carry Over Into Full Game

Nioh has been in the news lately and has been featured across various sites, which the reason behind so much info surrounding Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s game is that you can pre-load the demo by downloading it starting right now. The demo will be playable on PS4 starting on January 21st to January 22nd in the West.

In addition to so much information surrounding Nioh being released,  this uptick in news can also be contributed to the game’s release date approaching ever so quickly. The hack-and-slash game is slated to debut on February 7th in North America, February 8th in Europe, and February 9th in Japan.

For fans who can’t wait to play the game, Team Ninja’s Localization Producer, Naoki Tamura, took to the PlayStation.blog to announce that a playable demo can be downloaded right now, however it will be playable starting on January 21st to January 22nd in the West.

You can check out the trailer for the last demo for Nioh that runs for three minutes.

It’s worth noting that those who beat the demo will obtain the “Ogress Headgear” for clearing the Main Mission, whereas beating the “Twilight Mission” will reward you with the Mark of the Conqueror and the Mark of the Strong from the Alpha and the Beta trails.

Another important thing to note is that gamers should keep their save data from the “Last Chance Trial” to access the Ogress Headgear in the full game. Looking over to the Mark of the Conqueror and the Mark of the Strong, folks are required to download content that should be kept until the game launches. Lastly, visit the “Boons” at the in-game shrines to obtain the rewards.

As noted above, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s upcoming hack-and-slash game is set to release for PS4 on February 7th in North America, February 8th in Europe, and February 9th in Japan.
