Three Skyrim mods add new stuff to the game, one of which includes more and different NPCs. Joining the new townspeople and characters mod comes the new Soul Gems mod, and new male faces that sport 2K textures. Bethesda’s The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim is out now for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, and is also planned to hit the Nintendo Switch.
The first mod up on this list comes in by modder CEMN. The mod named “Diversity” adds over one hundred new NPCs with unique appearances, along with lore friendly changes to certain groups in order to bring a variety of NPC experiences to one’s playthrough. This mod is made to ensure great compatibility with mods that tweak combat stats, or add and change clothing and weapons.
If this is a mod worth getting (which can be seen in the header image above) you can download it by hitting up NexusMods.
The next mod comes in by Renthal311, who brings real stone textures to Soul Gems. The materials used respectively to create the Soul Gems come from moonstones converted with color match, lighting and cubemaps to make the stones look like how they do in the video below by Renthal311.
If the Soul Gems above look like something worth checking out, you can head on over to NexusMods to download the mod.
The last mod by ShinglesCat adds new 2K male faces that replace rough maps with freckles, and change all humanoid races. I should note that this mod will replace a lot of existing textures, so if you don’t mind said changes then this mod is good for you.
You can get this mod by heading over to NexusMods.
As noted above, The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim is currently out for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One. The role-playing game is also set to gain a Nintendo Switch version in the future.
