Tales of Berseria has undergone some controversy leading up to its release thanks to a scene that was censored in order to get the game approved with a “Teen” rating by the ESRB. The scene in question involved a character getting impaled by a sword. Bandai Namco had to change the scene in order to secure a lower rating.

Whether or not the rating controversy will play a role in the game’s sales remain to be seen, but gamers intent on getting the game can try it out beforehand with the free demo, which his available right now. You can look for Tales of Berseria to launch starting on January 24th for PS4 in North America and January 26th for Steam.
