Injustice 2: Shattered Alliances Trailer Reveals An Ultra Violent SJW Superman

Warner Bros., and NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Injustice 2 titled “Shattered Alliances Part 1”. It’s funny because at the start of the trailer Batman explains that every villain he’s encountered believes that they’re a hero in their own story. It reminds me of all the Social Justice Warriors advocating censorship, police states and violence against everyone who doesn’t adopt their ideology, like the people who rioted at Berkeley over Milo Yiannopoulos giving a speech there or the people who attacked Lauren Southern because she was asking Liberals about their protest.

The trailer focuses on Batman and Superman, the latter of which is apparently back to his moral authoritarian ways. I still can’t get over how generic they made Superman look. He just doesn’t look like the Superman most of us grew up with… there’s like some douche-nozzle layer that makes him look like middle-management from a failing mid-west American corporation.

Anyway, you can check out the trailer below.

Much like the first Injustice, the story seems to continue to center around Superman’s downfall. This time he seems to be fighting against the idea that certain moral principles upheld by vigilantes and heroes is no longer enough to protect mankind. In order to create a societal safe space, he feels extreme measures (violent measures) must be taken.

It’s hilarious because it’s essentially Superman turned into an ultra-turbo SJW – the moral president of the world, basically. His mindset is echoed often in today’s society by people who believe oppressive language, art, culture and products need to be censored, removed or violently destroyed in order to make the world a safer place.

In Superman’s case, he believes that the only way to have a safe world is to excise the criminal, violent element from it, and he’s bent on turning that ideology into a working reality.

It’s a similar story to what was featured in the original Injustice, where the Joker tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane and his unborn kid. Superman took it out on the Joker by killing him and then ensuring that such a thing would never happen again by creating an ultra-authoritarian military state.

Injustice 2 - Kara

It kind of sounds like evil SJW Superman is going to try that same tactic again, but he seems to have some opposition (maybe?) from Supergirl, and he attempts to recruit her with a lovely passage about her being either with him or against him.

It’s kind of sad that Superman has been used as the source of evil lately. A lot of people say it’s because he’s boring, but I just think it all boils down to how the stories are written. I never stopped loving the Richard Donner films and I thought Superman: The Animated Series was a wonderful, and hopeful, follow-up to those movies. But then we ended up getting grim-dark Snyderman and… well, the rest is history.

Anyway, you can look for Injustice 2 to launch on May 16th for PS4 and Xbox One. I’m kind of curious how they’re going to handle this storyline because it’s essentially the SJW Liberal mindset embodied into a nearly indestructible super-being. Batman is going to have his work cut out for him.

I found the story in the first one to be alright (watched the cinematics on youtube), so I’m interested to see what happens in this one. There’s something about Supes that feels kinda gross though.

    • I think it’s his head…. he doesn’t look or resemble the old Supes.

I’m only in DC universe anymore is because of Batman

Evil superman has long existed. The destruction of superman’s homeworld makes him obsessed with the pursuit of justice.

Nowhere in the trailer is social justice eluded to.

I think you are reporting on nothing here.

    • The destruction of superman’s homeworld makes him obsessed with the pursuit of justice.

In Injustice 2 he’s gone off the deep end because of Lois and his child dying, nothing to do with Krypton.

Nowhere in the trailer is social justice eluded to.

It’s more-so in terms of the absolutes. You’re “With us or against us” mentality, which is why I used the examples of the rioters in Berkeley or the physical assault against Lauren Southern — people claiming to be for social justice resulting to violence to get their point across.

In this case, Superman is resulting to killing people in order to maintain justice, while foregoing due process, nuance and context. It’s similar to how SJWs splash labels on people and then vilify them to the full extent for public flogging, similar to what happened to PewDiePie with the Nazi labels.

Speaking of Superman: The Animated Series…..

I really wish that Bruce Timm came back one more time to bring the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” story arc to Justice League, because we never really had the Anti-Monitor make his debut outside of comics yet. 🙁

Can’t Superman just BE fucking Superman anymore?

    • Disqusted

No, he needs to check his white privilege!

Mr. Kal-El is a Jewish dream, not a White one.

If I know my comic history and how they always tells these kinds of story, he either dies or redeem himself

That’s the model based on his Geek Squad supervisor arc.

What the hell is that. That looks absolutely horrible. And look at that horrible hairline on the girl’s forehead, with the visible gap. Hair mesh looks crappy too.
