Bandai Namco recently took to its blog site to update fans about Tekken 7 that two new characters from other licenses will be hitting the game’s character roster. Other new features and content follows the news regarding the upcoming characters. The actual game is set to come out on June 2nd for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
A lot of people are currently trying to figure out which characters will be making an appearance later on in Tekken 7’s roster. While a lot of folks think that one of the two will be a Soul Calibur character, there has been no official announcement as to who the two will be.
Looking away from the rumor mill and to what is currently known, Bandai Namco posted up an update to its blog site noting all the new changes that will be coming to the game via updates and DLC later in Tekken 7’s future.
“The first batch, to be released this Summer 2017, will provide a brand-new game mode and more than 50 new costumes. The second and third batches of content, to be released respectively this Winter 2017 and next Spring 2018, will both feature one exclusive playable guest character from other videogames’ licenses with, each time, a special stage and special costumes for these guest characters. This 3 post launch pieces of content will be purchasable individually but will also be available through the Season Pass that will grant to each buyers 35 exclusive metallic costumes.”
Although I’m not really into DLC, for those who are will not only find new stages and costumes, but characters outside of the standard Tekken universe, located witin the game. I’m not really sure who the characters will be when Winter of 2017 rolls around same as Spring of 2018, but I’m sure Bandai Namco will release info sometime in the near future about who the two are.
As noted above the Season Pass includes all three DLCs, or you can purchase them separately if you want a specific DLC and not all three. For more information regarding Tekken 7 or the future DLCs, you can hit up bandainamcoent.eu.
