Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is a free to play, monster collectible card game, developed by CD Projekt Red.
Gwent started off as a mini-game that you could play in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Fans of The Witcher series liked the battle card game so much, that by popular demand, the developers decided to make it a standalone game that you could play at any time, and battle other players from around the world.
At the moment, only PC users that were accepted into the closed Beta could participate and play Gwent so that they could receive vital feedback and fix some core issues with the gameplay. But now, they are moving things along to give console players a taste of the action. PS4 users will be able to download and play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, for free, and the developers at CD Projekt Red invite you to bring along your friends as well to try the game out too.
The entire technical Beta will last all weekend, starting on Friday, March 31st and ending on Monday, April 3rd. You will be able to download it from the Playstation Store website and add it to your queue. Below is a quote for the official instructions for the Gwent PS4 technical Beta.
