The first-person mystery adventure game, Kona, launched on home consoles and PC and was a real breath of fresh air. The game is unlike a lot of other games out there and features a mix of horror, clue-finding and exploration into a unique breed of game that we haven’t seen for quite some time. If you’re having trouble getting through Parabole’s title, there are some cheats to help you out.

The cheat trainer is available right now and sports four different cheats. You can download the trainer right now from over on the Mr. Antifun page.

  • Infinite Health
  • Always Warm
  • Good Mood
  • Super Carry Weight

Kona is a different kind of experience… your health is affected by a number of different factors, so activating the infinite health will keep you alive. Before you activate the cheats first start a game world and then once it’s all loaded up, activate the cheat trainer.

The Always Warm cheat is probably one of the most important you could possibly have. Why? Because the game is set during a blizzard storm and you’ll need to stay warm at all times. This cheat is actually more important than the health cheat because if you freeze to death no amount of health will help you.

The “Good Mood” cheat is actually a “Sanity Cheat”. The Sanity meter in Kona is necessary when Carl begins to lose his mind due to some of the events that transpire. You can take painkillers to numb the pain, but it’s not enough at times, so you’ll sometimes also have to smoke a cigarette to calm Carl down. The Sanity cheat will ensure that you’re always sane, and that no matter what you encounter (including the things that go bump in the night), Carl will not lose his mind.

The Super Carry Weight cheat is another useful item to have. The scroll-wheel inventory setup is clean and efficient, but you’re still limited on how much you can carry. The Super Carry Weight cheat means you’re not limited on how much you can hold, which is essential if you plan on packing on a ton of weapons and ammo leading up toward the finale.

Kona is set during 1970 Northern-French Canada. You must investigate clues, travel the road north, and check out the houses along the way.

You can pick up the game right now for PS4 or PC for only $19.99 from the Steam store or the PlayStation store.
