Bandai Namco Reveals New Code Vein Trailer
(Last Updated On: May 2, 2017)

Bandai Namco has revealed one of its upcoming games through a trailer dubbed as “Code Vein – First Trailer”. The video contains the main description, which includes subtitles, and explains the premise of Code Vein’s world and setting. The game currently has no platforms announced and has a release date that reads TBA.

One of the latest titles by Bamco that is set to come out sometime next year or in 2018, has been showcased in a new “first reveal” trailer, showing cut-scenes and in-game footage. The official description found on Code Vein’s trailer sits below for your reading pleasure.

“The new trailer highlights the mysterious and captivating universe found in Code Vein along with a quick look at the game’s thrilling weapon-based combat. The trailer also teases the game’s companion gameplay mechanic. As players venture out into the world, they will be able to choose a partner companion from the various residents of Vein. Added strategy presents itself when players choose companions that complement their play style to give them a fighting chance against the vicious enemies they’ll be up against through their journey.

In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.”

The trailer covers how the different environments within Code Vein look and how player versus enemy combat plays out, which can be seen in a two minute and 38 second long package. The trailer showing the game by Bandai Namco can be seen below.

Bamco has yet to announce the specific platforms Code Vein will debut on, but we do know that the Action-RPG is due out worldwide for “major home consoles” sometime in 2018. For more information regarding this upcoming title you can hit up bandainamcoent.com.

Hmm. Looks better quality than the usual anime-style games, but I’m not a fan of the dark gothic? metallic stuff. Not sure how to describe it. Something about it disgusts me for some reason.
