KontrolFreek Introduces Destiny 2 Analog Extenders For Xbox One, PS4
KontrolFreek Destiny 2

KontrolFreek announced that Destiny 2 analog extenders for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in their CQC line of FPSFreek accessories. The new pack of extenders were originally unveiled during the big press conference that Bungie held for the gameplay reveal of Destiny 2. And now gamers who want to get their hands on the accessories can do so ahead of the game’s launch for $17.99 on PS4 or Xbox One.

The Destiny 2 thumb extenders feature a golden Tricorn design based on the game’s signature logo. It’s hard not to notice how good the accessories look set against white themed controllers, especially the Xbox One controller, which looks super sexy.

KontrolFreek notes in the press release that the design of the thumbsticks were made in collaboration with Bungie, and they ensured that the concave circumference allows for maximum grip and precision angling of the analogs.

They note on the store page that much like their other entries, the medium-ranged length on the thumbstick extenders add additional precision thanks to the 8.03mm extension. This also improves control and accuracy, especially in first-person shooter games.

I can attest to KontrolFreek accessories working as advertised. It’s almost impossible now to play a TPS or FPS on home consoles without a thumbstick riser on the right analog stick. The added precision is almost an invaluable asset for kicking butt and taking names, whether you’re playing in single-player or multiplayer.

If you have the Xbox One versions of the extenders you can also make use of them on Steam controllers as well, assuming you wanted to use it on Valve’s controller.

If you were interested in getting the new KontrolFreek Destiny 2 CQC signature edition extenders, you can do so right now by picking up a pair for either the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4 for $17.99 from over on the official KontrolFreek website.
