Planet Nomads may not play out like No Man’s Sky or Mass Effect: Andromeda, but it sure does hold some aesthetics that look like said games. However, if you are into sci-fi games and like building stuff, publisher and developer Craneballs is set to drop Planet Nomads for PC on May 25th.

Set to release in two days as of this writing, the sci-fi sandbox game that explores elements of survival, crafting and other means to stay alive, will release on May 25th for PC via Steam Early Access.

If you have no idea as to what Planet Nomads has to offer content wise, or if you want to know the basic premise, the official description sits below.

“A sci-fi sandbox game of constructing your own planetary fate. Become a scientist astronaut determined to beat the odds and build great things. The particle-manipulating multitool and enviro-protec suit are your best friends on this journey.”

The game focuses on exploration in that materials and resources are scattered around the gigantic sandbox world, which upon finding and crafting certain materials will create new items. These items can be used to navigate hazardous locations that hold advanced technology.

Planet Nomads was originally set to come out on April 18th, but faced a delay so that the devs could fix up some bugs and other features before putting it out on Steam. As of course, the delay date is now approaching meaning that the game will be playable very soon.
