XSeed Games and Marvelous Entertainment announced that Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash will receive a limited physical collector’s edition when it launches this summer in the West.
The limited edition will run you $69.99 and is called a “No Shirt, No Shoes, All Service” edition, and it will arrive in a special physical case that comes with a Blu-ray disc featuring the various opening cinematics of the Senran Kagura games, an art book featuring all of the characters and their summer-time exploits, a CD with the original soundtrack from Peach Beach Splash on it, and a DLC key for the Soaking Wet High School Uniform costume pack, along with a set of specially colored bikini costumes, a Futomaki Roll Bazooka water cannon, a Bebeby pet card, and a special set of skill cards.
The booby-physics water gun game is a departure from the typical isometric, third-person, hack-and-slash gameplay that the Senran Kagura games have become renown for. Typically players will pick their character, dive into a level and fight off hundreds of enemies like a Musou-style Dynasty Warriors game. The fast-paced combat and dynamic specials from the previous games have been replaced with fast-paced shooting action with over-the-shoulder third-person watergun action.
The game is quite inventive really, because we don’t get casual sports games like this. Instead of killing people or bowling them over with fisticuffs, Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is all about using team work and water-based weapons to take out opponents. The best part about it is that it’s one of the few times where SJWs can’t even complain about the necessity of bouncing boobs and wet clothing being a part of the actual gameplay!
And speaking of wet clothing… the developers took an extra bit of time to ensure that their water physics worked out well with the texture of the clothing material so as some of the girls get more and more wet, certain parts of their clothing clings to their body and becomes transparent. It’ll likely trigger SJWs on the left like it would trigger traditionalists upper-class parents from Shanghai seeing their daughter marry a walnut-skinned bus driver from Bangladesh working the streets of Malaysia.
