Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni Steam Release Date Set For June 20th
Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni

The official release date for the Steam version of Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni has been set for June 20th, 2017 this year. That’s just a few weeks away. PC modders are probably already getting geared up and set to release the inevitable nude mods that will pop out for the game.

TechRaptor did a quick report on the release date, which was accompanied by a trailer featuring a rundown of the cast of playable characters and customization features that are present in the fan-service heavy 3D beat-’em-up title from the makers of Senran Kagura. You can check out the trailer below.

The trailer starts by covering the two main characters on the box art, and then proceeds to showcase the abilities and moves of the other playable female warriors, including Mana the bow-wielding maiden, and Momo who uses a crescent spear. A couple of other characters highlighted in the trailer includes Viola, Koharu and Manpukumaru. The story mode will sport 24 different missions and seven playable characters, as mentioned above.

Beyond the playable characters and hack-and-slash gameplay, there’s also a customization feature that allows players to modify and outfit the roster with a large variety of different clothing apparel.

The PC version of the game will have exclusive features like native 1080p (or higher) support along with 60 frames per second refresh rates. This is in addition to other quality of life content such as trading cards, backgrounds and achievements.

So far XSeed and Marvelous have managed to escape the watchful eye of the SJW brigade thanks to targeted marketing that keeps the game mostly within view of a niche audience. So far the media have yet to come down on XSeed or Marvelous on any charges of sexism, and it’s all worked out quite well for the company.

You can look to get your hands on the game for $29.99 starting June 20th. For more info feel free to visit the Steam store page.
