Xur has turned up this week allowing Guardians holding the right amount of resources to barter and trade them for “rare” weapons and items. Bungie’s Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
If you are looking for Xur hopefully this guide proves to be helpful in detailing the trader’s location and items for June 23rd. The Agent of the Nine can be found by going near the Speaker and heading to the balcony-like platform (where Xur is near the corner railing) that overlooks the city.
As for Xur’s exotic armor this week it includes the Peregrine Greaves boots for Titans, the Celestial Nighthawk helmet for Hunters, and the Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece for Warlocks. To be honest here, derpy Xur isn’t actually all that derpy and holds some rather solid items and rolls for newcomers and intermediate players, meaning that any of the three are a decent pick.
The Monte Carlo Auto Rifle is the exotic weapon of the week and isn’t that bad of a weapon. The melee-based, fast firing Auto Rifle has its perks and its downsides, which means that you should carefully look the weapon over before you make a purchase.
Below is a video guide by Mesa Sean, who covers all of Xur’s inventory for June 23rd, 2017.
Up next is a bulleted list covering the pricing of each exotic item and the exotic weapon for June 23rd:
- (Titan Boots) Peregrine Greaves – 13 Strange Coins
- (Hunter Helmet) Celestial Nighthawk – 13 Strange Coins
- (Warlock Chest Piece) Heart of Praxic Fire – 13 Strange Coins
- (Auto Rifle) Monte Carlo – 23 Strange Coins
- (Legacy Engram) Chest Piece – 29 Strange Coins
TL;DR: Consider buying one or more of the three exotic armors in Xur’s inventory this week. If you don’t have the Auto Rifle Monte Carlo it’s best to buy it in case you need a fast firing rifle, however that’s optional. Skip out on the weapon bundles and the Legacy Engrams. Lastly, do consider buying Heavy Ammo Synths and Three of Coins.
