Exzore: The Rising, Unreal Engine 4 Teaser Trailer Released

Tiny Shark Interactive released a new in-engine demo trailer for their upcoming game Exzore: The Rising. The trailer is just under a minute long, clocking in at an uneven 53 seconds, giving gamers a quick glimpse at the main character of the medieval-fantasy RPG.

Players are put into the role of Damien Clive, the former commander of the Exzore army unit. However, for unknown reasons Clive was betrayed and dishonored. He spends the game attempting to get revenge against his betrayer and retribution for what was lost.

The 53 second teaser trailer doesn’t showcase much except for the art-style and character designs that Tiny Shark are going with in Exzore: The Rising. You can check out the trailer below.

The Unreal Engine 4-powered title will focus mostly on what’s called Mechanical Gadgets, where players will be able to acquire, upgrade and craft these gadgets using a modular crafting system. These items, in addition to traditional sword and board combat, will make up for the core of the gameplay mechanics in Exzore.

In the previous press release there was also a focus on detailing how the faction system worked, explaining that gamers who align themselves with one of the four factions in the game will have to deal with the fallout and consequences of their decisions.

These sort of features all play into the game’s core tenets of allowing players to make story-altering decisions that will ultimately affect the outcome and ending of the game.

Whether or not the developers will hold true to that when Exzore finally releases remains to be seen, but it’s nice to know that they’re going to try.

Exzore: The Rising is scheduled to release at some point in 2018, and they’re gunning to get the game up and out for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. To keep up to date on the development, be sure to pay a visit to the official website.
