Dragon Ball FighterZ Closed Beta Registration Set For July 26th

Dragon Ball FighterZ is shaping up to be a pretty big fighting game, assuming the current buzz around it manages to follow it up until release. However, the buzz could grow even bigger thanks to an upcoming Closed Beta, which will shorten the gap between gamers getting their hands on the title and its 2018 release. Bandai Namco and Arc System Works are set to debut Dragon Ball FighterZ for PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime in early 2018.

According to a new tweet made by Bandai Namco, the upcoming 2.5D fighting game set in the realm of Dragon Ball Z, which is better known as Dragon Ball FighterZ, has received info regarding its Closed Beta and when its registration will start.

According to Producer Tomoko Hiroki, who wasn’t able to share too many details about the forthcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ Closed Beta, we do learn that the date in the tweet remains true for PS4 and Xbox One players. If you are on PC and are looking for an official Beta date, the answer to the question regarding the start times remains a mystery at this very moment.

If you are still looking for more information surrounding the Closed Beta, it is said that there will be nine playable characters in total. As many fans of the upcoming fighting game should know, there are seven characters listed on the main site, meaning that two new fighters will join the fray when the Beta goes live.

It is also worth mentioning that the Beta version of DBfZ will likely differ from the E3 demo since more characters will be there, and other changes like additional stages and other features are likely to follow.

Lastly, if you are excited to get your hands on Arc System Works’ upcoming DBZ fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, then look for it to release sometime early 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. As noted above, the Closed Beta is set to open for PS4 and Xbox One players on July 26th.
