You will finally be able to know what’s inside the canister and whether D.R.U.G.S or “Fookin Lazer Soights” are in the Alpha Pack update. Ubisoft is set to release the Alpha Packs sometime soon for Rainbow Six: Siege, which follows the recent Update 2.1.1. The game is currently available right now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Fellow meme goers, Tachanky Kangians, and those who take the game serious will find that Alpha Packs will not be available immediately following the newly implemented update 2.1.1. Ubisoft on rainbow6.ubisoft.com announced that when Alpha Packs do come they are designed as a way to give players a free cosmetic by playing the game.
Ubisoft noted in the recent update post about the Alpha Packs that…
“Alpha Packs will introduce a chance-based loot system that will contain many past cosmetics (like the Black Ice skins), as well as exclusive Legendary tier items that you will only be able to get in Alpha Packs.”
From the sounds of it — but it is not confirmed so do please take this with a grain of salt — the Alpha Packs can be acquired from three different ways: By doing well in a match, using existing Renown to buy a pack, or using real money to buy a pack. According to the update post, Ubisoft will be publishing a FAQ about the Alpha Packs next week to clarify any confusion over on its blog highlights page.
The last thing about Alpha Packs is that Ubisoft will release them across PC, PS4 and Xbox One, which once the packs are implemented everyone will receive a free pack.
Next comes changes to the stage Kanal and the operator Habana. Experienced R6S player Matimi0 has a video covering the new changes and then some in his latest video.
Lastly, may the fookin laser sights bless you when you open the canister full of D.R.U.G.S, as our lord and savior Tachanky Kang watches over us all…
