Here’s How To Access Fallout 4 Creation Club Steam Beta

There’s a lot of controversy surrounding the Creation Club, however if you want to give the whole program a shot and see what Bethesda has in store for you and other gamers, an early version of it is now available. This guide will not only tell you what the Creation Club is about but how to join Fallout 4’s Creation Club Steam Beta.

Searching up the Creation Club program will lead you to a lot of forums with arguments going on. I’m not sure how the final product of this whole thing will turn out, but one way to know is to test the Creation Club Steam Beta that is currently live.

Before jumping into the instructional guide on how to enter the Steam Beta, an explanation by Bethesda details what the Creation Club aims to do:

“Creation Club is a collection of all-new content for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim. It features new items, abilities, and gameplay created by Bethesda Games Studios and outside development partners including the best community creators. Creation Club content is fully curated and compatible with the main game and official add-ons.”

Where is the Creation Club available you may ask? Well, there’s an answer for that, as explained by Bethesda:

Creation Club is available via in-game digital marketplaces in both Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition and purchased with Credits. Credits are available for purchase on PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam. Your Credits are transferable and can be used in both games on the same platform for Steam and Xbox Live. PSN does not support transferable credits between both games.

Curious readers looking to obtain starter Creation Credits can learn how to do so as explained below:

Enjoy your complimentary 100 Creation Credits by logging into the Creation Club Store in Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition. On Steam and Xbox One, your free credits are shared between Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition. On PSN, you will find 100 Creation Credits to spend in each game, since credits are not transferable on that platform. Creation Club for Skyrim Special Edition is expected in September

The announcement can be seen below for the above program, which comes in part by a post on Bethesda’s Twitter page.

Looking over to what’s new, the 1.10 update for Fallout 4’s Creation Club brings the Creation Club itself, a “Message of the Day,” support for ESL file format, mods, and general stability fixes related to enabling and disabling mods.

How To Access Fallout 4’s Creation Club Steam Beta

With that out of the way, here’s how to access the steam Beta. First log into Steam, then right click on Fallout 4 in your Library. Select settings and then go to betas. From here a drop down menu should appear, simply select beta. After confirming to proceed by clicking “OK,” wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update. Once done, Fallout 4 should appear as “Fallout 4 [Beta]” in your Library.
