WWE 2K18 First Screenshots Reveal A High-Res Seth Rollins

2K Games released the first two set of screenshots featuring Seth Rollins, the WWE superstar on the Raw brand. The screenshots are actually made available through a quick behind-the-scenes video from the 2K staff who briefly walks us through the process of scanning in a character, brushing up the model and importing them into the actual game.

The video itself unfortunately does not show any in-game play, but they decide to only leave you with the two still images of Rollins, one with his short on and one with his shirt off. If you want to see the video you can check it out below from the WWE 2K YouTube channel.

The character artist talks about how they get the real life WWE superstars to come in, get a 3D scan of their body using Visual Concepts 3D scanning technology, and then the 3D character artist takes time to manually add in some of the details missed by the scanner.

Once it’s all finished up nice and neat, it’s implemented into the actual game. Of course, if you honestly do not feel like watching a near four minute video of the developers at 2K Games talking about the design process, you can actually just check out the two images of Seth Rollins below.

The first image, as you can see, features Seth in his entrance attire that he comes out in. The shirt reads “Seth Freakin’ Rollins”.

He has his wrist tape, wet hair and trademark thunder thighs on display.

The second screenshot features Rollins, shirtless. If you’re a thirsty girl or a dry-mouthed dude, you’ll likely find yourself starring longingly at the screenshot, which you can check out below.

WWE 2K18 is due out later this year in October for the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Hopefully there’s also a PC version in tow so the PCMR isn’t left out of the fold. Gamers, of course, are still begging 2K for some actual gameplay footage… so hopefully that arrives soon.
