EA Sports released a free demo for FIFA 18, allowing gamers on Xbox One, PS4 and PC to get their hands on the playable demo ahead of the game’s release on September 29th at the end of the month.

The demo features 12 different clubs to choose from, ranging from Man United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and PSG to name but a few. Part of the demo’s highlight is its focus on the all new Real Player Motion Technology, which was designed from the ground up to work alongside DICE’s highly coveted Frostbite game engine. This enabled the animators and engineers to capture the most realistic sequences of movement(s) from the players and implement them into the game to allow gamers the most precision control afforded in a FIFA game to date.

The demo also comes with a couple of stadiums, including Santiago Bernabeu, Stub Hub and La Bombonera.

EA released a new trailer as well to accompany the release of the demo, featuring the player ratings, so you can get an idea of how well each player might perform on the pitch in those clutch moments. Check it out below.

The video probably didn’t do much to help you with putting together your dream team for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 18 when it does release, but at least it was somewhat entertaining… right?

Anyway, the team styles will also be a new feature in the game that allows players to organize and execute team tactics, identical to how it’s done in real life soccer. This will enable you to setup plays that mimic the on-field styles and tactics of players from your favorite team in FIFA 18.

You’ll probably want to get in some practice time before the official launch of the game on September 29th, this way once you head online and attempt to play against your most heated rivals, you’ll be primed and ready to take home the win.
