Nutaku announced that the 18+, adult-oriented comedy dating sim called King of Bali from King Key Games based out of Melbourne, Australia, has officially launched on the adult-oriented web portal. You can pick up a digital copy of the game for only $2.00. Yes, only $2.00.
The visual novel dating sim comes in multiple languages, including English, simplified Chinese and Russian, and it has no DRM.
The game centers around an RnB star named Billy who hasn’t had a hit in years. He finds himself down and out on his luck and trying to find a way back into the spotlight, so he attempts to get a gig booked at SXSW but it all falls through. He decides to take a vacation in Bali, Indonesia in order to get his creative juices flowing.
While vacation in Bali, Billy ends up meeting various hot chicks and decides that maybe it’s not his creative juices that need to flow.
You can check out the game’s launch trailer below to get an idea of what the art-style and dialogue is like.
The goal is to attempt to win over some love (or at least a night of lust) by participating in various hijinks and comedic situations in an attempt to get Billy into harmony with the lovely ladies he meets in Bali.
Multiple choices are present throughout the game that also determine what sort of ending you unlock as you play. The game is extremely tiny, clocking in at only 68MB, and you don’t need a high-end PC to run the title at all. I do wonder exactly how many CG sequences they managed to compress into a file less than 100MB, though? I’m guessing it either doesn’t have a whole lot of art or the music and sound files are also pretty tiny. I’m also guessing this means no voice-overs?
Anyway, You can learn more about King of Bali or pick up a digital copy of the game by hitting up the Nutaku digital storefront.
