Pankapu, Colorfully Vibrant Platformer Now Available For PS4, XB1, Steam
Pankapu Launched
(Last Updated On: September 20, 2017)

Pladius and Too Kind Studio announced that their visually vibrant platformer, Pankapu, is available right now for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and over on Steam for digital purchase. You can grab the game for $11.99 but it’s currently 15% off right now on Steam during the first week of availability.

The game is set within the dreamscape of a kid named Djaha’rell, who is being plagued by nightmares from Gangreyn, the Prince of Nightmares. Players take on the role of a mysterious dream warrior who can adopt the form of three different Aegis archetypes, including a blade master, an archer and a mage. You’ll need to utilize each of these three Aegis in order to defeat the main bad guy and progress through the levels.

You can check out the game’s launch trailer below to see just how visually poignant the game is with its color-splash of whimsical environments and idyllic scenarios.

Don’t let the captivating art distract you from the fact that this is no walk in the park and the game is highly challenging with plenty of boss to fight, enemies to overcome and platforming obstacles to power through.

Players will have to rapidly switch back and forth between the different Aegis forms in order to make their way through each of the different levels.

The game also sports a mollifying soundtrack put together by Ganaé and Hiroki Kikuta as they attempt to revive the halcyon days from the old-school of gaming with that sexy new-school auricular touch.

It’s a real shame that this game isn’t on the Nintendo Switch right now because it looks like Switch material. However, according to some reports the game is coming to the Switch at some point in the future. This should have been a game Nintendo fought to have exclusively on the Switch, but I guess they can’t win them all.

Anyway, you can pick up a digital copy of Pankapu right now for PC, PS4 or Xbox One.
