If you need a little bit of help working out the choices and decisions in the latest episode of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, there is a walkthrough available right here.
YouTuber MKIceandFire has up the full episode, but there are also additional alternate choices and ending videos available as well. You can check out the main playthrough for Guardians of the Galaxy: Telltale Series Episode 4 – Who Needs You below.
This particular walkthrough follows the choices where Nebula and Gamora have made up, and Peter choose Gamora over Drax for his trust missions.
Hala absorbs the Eternity Forge and then the whole place starts to fall in. An action sequence will ensue and you’ll have to perform the quick-time events during the action sequences.
There’s a lengthy intro sequence that leads into a flashback with Peter and his mom. Once you dial the radio in another QTE kicks in where Peter has to save his mom while they’re driving.
You’ll have the choice to either tell Peter’s mom to keep going or choose to head back.
Once the cinematics finally end, you’ll play as Peter and you’ll need to talk each of the Guardians in order to find a way out of the cave.
Finish talking to the Guardians and then go over to the hole in the wall and a rock worm will pop out.
You can name the rock creature after petting it and then it will burst through the wall and lead the team out of the cave.
Another fight will take place against a group of rock worms.
Rocket and Gamora will get into an argument and go their separate ways
You’ll be able to choose to either go after Gamora and talk with her or go after Rocket and attempt to reconcile with him.
If you choose to talk to Gamora you can reassure her that Nebula changed for the better. Groot will also eat some poisonous flowers and get high.
In order to get across the chasm you first have to look at the tunnel, and then look at the tunnel again and Peter will suggest needing help getting inside. Then go over and look at the tall pillar.
Talk to Gamora and ask her to help you get into the tunnel.
Gamora will then talk about leaving the group. If you tell Gamora about needing to care and think about Nebula she will remember that.
Knock the pillar over to get to the other side.
Up next you’ll have to sneak through the lair of the rock worms. The trick is to move through when they stop glowing.
When you get to the cocoon, you’ll need to slowly open the cocoon by tapping ‘A’ on the Xbox controller or ‘X’ on the DualShock 4.
When you go to help Drax a flashback scene will play when Maintis comes to help.
During the flashback you will have to train Kamaria by giving her fatherly advice. Your choice will determine how she perceives Drax – you’ll have the distinct choice in how she embraces fear, and whether you push her off the ledge or pull her back.
Back on the ship, Nebula will want to be unplugged from the ship. You’ll have a choice of either plugging her in or unplugging her from the ship.
During the talk, if you tell Nebula that she should tell Gamora she loves her, she will remember that. Also, if you tell her tell Gamora she loves her then she will tell that to her before dying.
After the pity party about Nebula dying, Rocket will repair Pete’s jet boots so he can fly around and find engine parts.
Use the jump boots to get across the platforms on your way to the engine.
Use the engine and crank it with the right analog, and then push the ignition button.
Venture across to the other side of the platform where the other engine is located. Open the hatch and the inside will be empty. Head back down to the area where the torium is located and take some. Head back up to the outcropping and then examine the engine again. Place the torium inside the fuel hatch.
While up on the outcropping, fly across to the next platform. Go over to the engine and activate it.
Once you finish up activating the engines, go back into the room and toss out some of Peter’s stuff.
Toss the trophy, rocket, weights, and the spirits.
You can also give Mantis a baseball glove to throw out in order to help contribute. The more you give away the more you the Guardians will be impressed.
You’ll also have a choice of keeping or getting rid of the rock monster.
There’s also a huge choice in either keeping or getting rid of the tape deck.
You can keep the tape deck and it will not stop the ship from exiting the worm.
Speaking of exiting the worm, you’ll have the choice of either exiting from the mouth or the giant rock worm’s booty hole. Choose wisely, because this is what you will tell your kids.
During the ridiculous end sequence, you’ll have to finish the quick-time events, get the engine turned back on and make the decision to either help Drax or refuse when he requests to go fight the giant rock worm.
If you refuse then Drax will stay on the ship but Groot will get burned to the core.
Drax will also become angry and attempt to beat the snot out of Peter. Mantis, Drax and Rocket will leave the team, while Peter and Gamora will go get a drink. The episode ends with the Kree attacking a planet.
In the alternate ending, if you help Drax he will attack the worm and leave the ship. Groot won’t get burned up.
If you help Drax then Gamora will get angry at Peter for launching Drax out of the airlock.
If Drax sacrifices himself, Peter and Rocket will be friends at the end, but Gamora will be angry at Peter.
Mantis will still leave the team, whether Drax stays or leaves.
Gamora will leave, and Groot will still leave.
In the alternate ending where Drax sacrifices himself, Rocket will stay with Peter.
In the alternate ending, Groot also further explains that he’s going to look after Mantis because he understands what it means to be the last of one’s kind, and wants to offer Mantis some comfort.
