Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker Story Mode And Microtransactions Detailed

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is set to have an upcoming beta that will allow you to play the game early, which not only reflects an early build of the game but how its core features will likely be at launch. However, in a video interview we learn more about the Story Mode and whether there will be microtransactions or not.

There’s no doubt that a lot of fans of Naruto were first skeptical when Bandai Namco and Soleil announced what approach they would take regarding the graphics and gameplay featured in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. Some time later the devs behind the upcoming fighting game released a character creation video that was followed by another that detailed how it worked and a lot of fans were hyped.

As of now, it looks like fans are back at square one and are once again skeptical about Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker due to no Story Mode and the possibility of microtransactions.

A lot of publishers and developers have abused the likes of microtransactions to a whole new level that has caused concerns about basic features in full priced games being something unlocked through random luck or through more cash.

The team over Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is considering whether microtransactions should be in the game as a cosmetic based feature that does not add weapons with better stats or if the feature should be absent at launch.

The video interview that covers the act of no Story Mode and the chance of microtransactions being in the full version of the game can be seen below courtesy of YouTuber TGN Anime.

As mentioned in the video above, we hear a lot about the features in detail and how they will work, even when some things were lost in translation.

Overall, though, I do wonder how Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will do when it launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One with no Story Mode and the likelihood of microtransactions? I say this because it is a game that will always be online and if a lot of people aren’t playing it for one reason or more, will it last long?
