Super Mario Odyssey Videos Show Off Gameplay And Bosses

Are you a fan of Mario? If so, Super Mario Odyssey is shaping up to hit the Nintendo Switch on October 27th, 2017. Just three weeks away from hitting the digital scene and store shelves, two new videos showing off gameplay and bosses arrive ahead of said launch date.

Whether you picked up a Mario game back when he was just 2D pixels or when he transcended into 3D (with or without textures), each game in the series attempted to expand on the previous iteration and there’s no doubt that Nintendo is trying to do the same with Super Mario Odyssey.

In addition to the above, Super Mario Odyssey at its heart reflects some pretty strange and interesting stuff; some of the things nestled in the forthcoming Mario game can be seen in two new videos showing off actual gameplay and bosses.

The first video shows that of two players contending to be the best, which the victor moves on to a new boss battle. The footage, as noted above, takes us back to 2D graphics in a 3D world and intertwines said worlds together in a puzzling way with platforming as its main core.

The new video contains players John Numbers and Thomas G, who go head to head against each other. The footage runs close to 12 minutes in length and comes in by NintendoHQ.

The next video covers all or most of the bosses found in Super Mario Odyssey. I should note that the second video is a compilation of videos put together by Zinovo HD.

With Super Mario Odyssey’s release fast approaching only means that fans excited for this game will be able to get their hands on it to find out what the game has to offer. If you can’t wait that long, though, you can head on over to nintendo.com for more details.
