The sequel to the first-person team-based action-adventure game now has a new beta set to release in the near future. The beta will likely bring what is present in the newly posted live stream video that details gameplay, characters, skills, and much more.
That’s right, Fatshark has posted a new live stream video tagging along with the beta sign-up that has been condensed down revealing what Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has to offer.
Firstly, there are five heroes that sport 15 Career Paths. You can pick between 15 unique careers that each reflect different appearances, abilities, talents and weapons to wield.
As for enemies to hack and slash through happen to be Chaos and Skaven units. The two factions working together remains a mystery right now, but the pact equate to a threat of unparalleled magnitude as the Chaos and Skaven armies aim to consume the world. Additionally, this means that new enemies and types will be present that must be dealt with differently.
Speaking of dealing with enemies differently, a new Heroic Deeds System allows for unique scenarios and trails that grant the ability to explore quests that will alter enemy composition, level settings, weapon use and mission objectives.
The next feature that has been revamped happens to be that of the loot system at the end of each mission. The new system will reward players with relevant loot based on skill, participation and other factors. Rewards consist of weapons, consumable quests, trinkets, hats, crafting material and other content that is applicable to your chosen career.
The new 18 minute long video detailing all of the above and then some can be seen right here. The video below comes in by Fatshark.
