Witcher 3 PS4 Pro Support Now Available, Xbox One X Version Planned For Late 2017

Have you spent hours upon hours playing CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? If you want to relive those moments in better quality there’s good news for you in that the devs have seeded out Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PS4 Pro support. Additionally Xbox One X support for the game will come out during the late part of 2017.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently available to purchase at a varying degree of prices depending on the platform you are looking to play the action-adventurer RPG on. Prior to this day, folks could assume the role of Geralt of Rivia across PC, PS4 and Xbox One. However with support of what is often referred to as 1.5 consoles, the PS4 Pro can now play the same adventure as its older version, but with a few new bells and whistles, as explained below:

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has just received an upgrade patch, enabling the game to take advantage of the additional power offered by the PS4 Pro system.

When playing the game on a PS4 Pro system, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and all its additional content feature support for 4K resolution and a slight boost to performance.

If you own a PS4 Pro and haven’t played The Witcher 3 yet, or are simply looking to relive Geralt’s final adventure again — it’s a great time to do so.”

I’m sure this is good news to those who own said platform and love The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, because it means that you can play the game right now with the aforementioned support.

Folks on Xbox One who can’t wait for Xbox One X to release on November 7th and support to roll around in the near future can rest assure that said support will drop later this year. This information comes straight from CD Projekt Red’s President Adam Kicinski during the developer’s financial report for the first half of 2017.
