A new charging station from Fosmon is currently available right now for Xbox One and Xbox One X systems for $39.99. The new Xbox One X Dual Conductive Charging Station allows gamers to charge Xbox One or Xbox One X controllers, two at a time.
The charging stations will power a pack of controllers for up to 28 hours. The station supports charging for a high capacity 800mAh NiMH pattery pack that’s compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X compatible controllers. You need to keep in mind that the charging pack is not compatible with Xbox One Elite controllers.
Simon Loh, CEO of Fosmon, commented about the new charging station, mentioning in the press release…
“Xbox enthusiasts have always loved our charging stations for the ease of use and sustained gameplay it supports, and we are pleased to update our charging station to power the exciting experience of the new Xbox One X.”
Let’s get real for a second here: this isn’t really all that special when you look at the larger grand scheme of peripherals available for the Xbox One ecosystem. The Xbox One X is just a beefed up Xbox One, but otherwise it uses all the exact same peripherals, including controllers, headsets, hard drives, and other accessories. So any standard Xbox One charging station will still net you the same results as a charging station specifically designed for the Xbox One X since they all share the same accessories anyway.
Now, this doesn’t detract from the fact that the Fosmon Xbox One X Dual Charging Station does offer 28 hours of consecutive playability from the controllers. That absolutely runs circles around the piss-poor charging hold of the DualShock 4 controllers, which are about as reliable as a male feminist who promises not to sexually assault someone while hanging out backstage at a beauty pageant.
Anyway, the Fosmon Xbox One X Dual Conductive Charging Station is available right now over on their official website for $39.99.
