Hunt: Showdown Closed Alpha Sign-Up Is Now Live For PC

The Hunt: Showdown closed alpha sign-up is now live for folks on PC to participate in. This means that limited space will be a thing, but if you are curious as to what Crytek wants to bring gamers, you can get an early taste by registering right now.

That’s right, Crytek currently has a closed alpha sign-up process going on right now for Hunt: Showdown as we speak for PC players. However, like any other closed alpha, limited space will be the only thing separating you from playing the game, which means that you might have to act fast to secure a spot.

This news of a closed alpha set to go live soon comes just one month after the second showing of the Hunt: Showdown’s gameplay, and the announcement of its Steam Early Access page.

The good news is that the actual closed alpha testing will go live come this Winter (2017), meaning it’s not too long of a wait. The information explaining this can be found on the game’s official news page, which states the following info:

“Closed Alpha will be our first chance to get player feedback, and we are really excited to see how they will interact with the game. After initial tests with a very limited amount of players we are planning to invite more and more testers with each phase. This is the first step in building a close relationship with our community and integrating their feedback into our development process, something we plan on continuing—and intensifying—during Early Access.”

Sadly, participants will be randomly picked via email meaning that there is no guarantee that you’ll make it in the closed alpha testing this Winter.

More information on the Hunt: Showdown can be found over on huntshowdown.com or you can try to secure a spot in the closed alpha phase. Lastly, if you want a taste of the game before signing-up you can check out this 12 minute long gameplay video.
