PlayStation Experience Keynote 2017 To Kick-Off On December 8th

Sid Shuman, director of SIEA social media, took to the PlayStation.blog to tell folks that the PlayStation Experience 2017 will kick-off on December 8th at 8:00 P.M. PT / 11:00 P.M. ET. If you want to witness the latest game announcements and details, next month’s PSX event will have you covered.

The upcoming event set during the early part of December, better known as PlayStation Experience 2017, will run from December 9th to 10th. According to the PlayStation.blog all “Early Bird ticket-holders” will gain access to the normal event and keynote.

Shuman noted that during the event PlayStation Worldwide Studios Chairman, Shawn Layden, will update attendees, who will be able to meet special guests and learn about game updates.

In addition to the above, the show floor will be open to attendees so that they can go hands-on with upcoming games and tech that will be featured across PS4 and PSVR.

It is said that “developer panels” will make a return for PlayStation Experience 2017, which will include more details on announcements made during Paris Games Week 2017.

Word on the list of participating developers hasn’t been set just yet, but two studios that will be at the December event includes Sucker Punch Productions and Media Molecule. The games from said studios include Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams.

The final piece of information sees a special keynote before December 9th on December 8th (Friday). The following information can be traced in the comment section of the blog post by Shuman:

“On Friday night, we’ll have a special presentation with opening remarks, special guests and game updates to talk about. We’re not calling it a Showcase given that we’re coming a few weeks off of Paris Games Week, but we’ll have some cool content to share.”
