A series of trainers have been made available for Star Wars: Battlefront II, the latest outing from Electronic Arts and DICE. The game launched to massive criticism from gamers, backlash from consumers, and some parental justice in the form of moms and pops going to the gambling commissions to get them to regulate premium loot boxes in video games. If you’re enjoying all this schadenfreude, it’s also possible to add a little bit more chaos to the stew of carnage by putting some cheat trainers to use in the game.
The first cheat trainer is available for download from over on Cheat Happens.
The list of cheats for the game are below.
- Unlimited Health
- No Weapon Overheat
- Freeze Mission Timer
- Instant Unit Ability Cooldowns
- Freeze Unit Ability Cooldowns
- Instant Force Ability Cooldowns
- Instant Jedi Spin Attack
- Campaign Slice Droid Health
- Campaign Slice Droid Energy
- Invincible Tie Fighter
The invincible Tie Fighter cheat will come in handy for those early missions in the Campaign Mode where you’re playing as Iden and taking down some X-Wings and Y-Wings along the way.
One thing I’m curious about is if that invincibility also translates over to the part of the campaign when Iden and Del join the Rebels?
Those cheats also quite distinct from what you get in a separate trainer you can download from Megadev.info.
You can check out the list of cheats from the second trainer below.
- Full Droid Energy
- No Weapon Overheat
- Godmode Tie-Fighter
- No Ability Cooldown
- No Jedi Ability Cooldown
Those are some pretty straightforward cheats, and give you some of the same things as the Cheat Happens trainer but just fewer. Then again, you can access some of the Megadev cheats without signing up for premium membership like you have to do at Cheat Happens.
Both cheat trainers also support the full version of the game and the trial version, so it’s something to keep in mind if you plan on using either one.
Now usually Cheat Happens has it setup so that you can’t use cheats in multiplayer, but I get the feeling that some gamers might purposefully try to stick it to EA and DICE for ruining what could have been a great game by lobbing in microtransactions so far up the game’s rectum that if it had a mouth it would be vomiting cha-ching sounds from a slot machine.
Usually I would say to cheat responsibly, but in this case you may as well cheat like Anthony Weiner with a Donald Trump pussy-pass to the backstage dressing room of the Miss Universe pageant: Grab those epic wins until you get banned.
