Worms WMD, Crimsonland Now Available On Nintendo Switch

Team17’s Worms W.M.D. and 10tons Ltd.’s Crimsonland have both recently launched as digitally available titles on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch.

Worms W.M.D. features 30 training missions and 30 campaign missions along with 10 additional challenges through a robust single-player campaign on the Switch, along with local co-op and competitive modes that allows up to four players duke it out either by using a mixture of Joy-Con controllers and the Pro Controller or with other supported third-party controllers.

Multiplayer also extends to the online portion of the game as well, where multiple players can take to a variety of battle stages, using vehicles, and fighting across space, mushrooms and tree forts in an attempt to win the round.

You can pick up Worms W.M.D. for $19.99 from the Nintendo eShop right now.

On a similar note, the overhead survival-shooter from 10tons, Crimsonland, is also available right now for the Nintendo Switch.

The game features non-stop arena shooting across sixty different missions as you attempt to unlock additional weapons, perks and game modes. The idea is to get through the game and attempt to use your skills in the unforgiving Survival Mode, where players will try to fight for the top spots on the leaderboards.

There are 32 different weapons at the player’s disposal as they blast through hordes of enemies. Things are made a lot more fun with the addition of the four-player local co-op. So if you have three friends be sure to drag them along to kill some of the hordes with you.

Unlike Worms W.M.D., Crimsonland is actually a lot cheaper than its console rival. You can pick up a digital copy from the Nintendo eShop for only $13.99. If you need to see what the game is like in action there’s a trailer below to give a basic overview of what you can expect from the overhead twin-stick shooter courtesy of YouTuber CornshaqGaming.
