Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 has yet another video out dabbling in what folks can expect to see and do in Hope County, Montana. The first-person shooter not only features a crazy conspiracy theorist, but the new video also unveils the act of beating on glitchy animals, and egg collecting.
Far Cry 5 has been delayed from February 27th to March 27th, 2018. While the game won’t be hitting PC, PS4 and Xbox One until a month later when the latter part of Q1 2018 rolls up. This means that gamers only have an extra month’s worth of time to burn before release, but a new video aims to ease the wait time.
Leading up to release, several “journalists” have posted up various editorials disappointed that Ubisoft did not go down the anti-Conservative and anti-Christian route when making Far Cry 5. Although it kicked-up a lot of debates and heated talks around various forum boards, it was actually false information regarding Eden Gate and what the warped minded cult aims to bring to Hope County.
On the topic of extreme viewpoints we get to see a character named “Crazy Larry Parker” in Far Cry 5, who looks like he’d lose a job due to sexual misconduct allegations. Known as a crazy conspiracy theorist, Crazy Larry Parker makes an appearance alongside glitchy animal abuse and egg collecting.
You can check out the aforementioned below, which the video comes in by IGN.
The video featured above that IGN and Ubisoft collaborated to post up for public viewing garnered quite the dislikes. Many commenters relayed that the voice acting for Crazy Larry Parker is off, and that gameplay looks dull.
Given that the game has around three and half months before shipping, it does raise the question, how much will change gameplay and polish wise in those three or so months? Time will tell come March 27th, 2018.
