If you just never seem to have enough slots free for all the characters you want to add to your modded version of WWE 2K18 on PC, there’s a new mod that alleviates that problem for good called PerfectPlextra.
An avid reader of OAG tipped us off to the mod, which is currently made available for free over on the Smacktalks download page.
The mod doesn’t require a new saved game to work, and it injects a total of 669 roster slots into WWE 2K18, where gamers can use new portfolio pictures, movesets and characters.
According to Perfectplex, you don’t have to worry about copyrighted content, meddling with the textures, sounds or models.
Installing the mod is pretty simple, just make a backup copy of Chunk0.arc and create an empty Chunk0.arc using notepad. Make a backup of your profile_dat.pac, profile_mvs.pac, and profile_pro.pac files located in your WWE 2K18/pac/profile folder.
Download the file, extract the contents of the zip file into the WWE 2K18/pac/profile folder and wam, bam, thank you ma’am, you’re done!
If you need help with the roster IDs for adding or replacing characters using the mod, you can check out the Smacktalks character id list post for a full breakdown of each slot, the filled ones and the empty ones.
Now there’s something you need to keep in mind: this will not extend the amount of custom character slots, it just extends the overall slots for characters you can add to the game. So this means you can add more modded characters to the game.
This mod does not stack with PacPlus. The mod is compatible with update version 1.4 and the NXT Generation DLC Pack.
This is a mod that a lot of people wanted because it means they can download and import tons and tons of tons of other characters and then slot them into the other character slots. So you can extend the roster to practically include every notable wrestler for the last 40 years… and then some.
Heck, you could add every single one of the people that Goldberg and Asuka defeated as part of their undefeated streak, and still have room free!
