For starters, open beta participants will gain access to characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Adult Gohan, Frieza, Kid Buu, Beerus, Cell, Piccolo, Krillin, Nappa, and Android 18. These 11 fighters should give players a good ideal how each of the named fighters play and what kind of variety is at hand.

Looking over to the modes present in the open beta, World Match, Battle Tutorial, Ranking, Replay Channel, Stamps (Limited Set), Lobby Avatar Customization, and “2 Dramatic Scenes” will be available.
As for platforms and date/times, the open beta will be for PS4 and Xbox One users. The date/times for the open beta are set for January 13th from midnight to 12:00 P.M. PDT for those who pre-ordered the game digitally. Everyone else will gain access to the open beta on January 14th at midnight PDT, which will end at 12:00 P.M. PST on January 15th.
Before concluding, Bandai Namco has shipped out a new trailer showing Hit. Although Hit won’t be a playable character in the open beta, he will be in the full game, which you can get a glimpse of him early via a new character video trailer.
