Mad Catz announced that they are making a return to form with three all new gaming peripherals at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company is back with all new management and a new direction for offering gamers high-end gaming gear.
The Chinese-run peripheral company will be showcasing the new F.R.E.Q. 4 gaming headset, the new S.T.R.I.K.E. 4 gaming keyboard, and the new R.A.T. Air gaming mouse.
The promo video is designed to give gamers a bit of hype heading into CES as they unveil their new line-up of PC peripherals.
I have to say that the new R.A.T., looks as sexy as ever. However, the new line of gear will also be themed at attracting and working in conjunction with the ever-growing e-sports market.
According to the new director of sales and operations for Mad Catz, Selena Chang, she mentioned in the press release…
“Through listening to gamers worldwide, we plan to once again forge a path of innovation in the gaming hardware community, and we’re already working on delivering products which we believe will enhance gamers’ abilities and do justice to the Mad Catz name.”
Some of you might remember that last year, back in early April, Mad Catz had to file for bankruptcy. The company’s long-running legacy came to an abrupt halt in 2017.
Well, now that their back and at it again, they’re focusing on rolling out a line-up of high-end gaming gear for casuals, hardcore gamers, and e-sports enthusiasts. They’ll have the three starter devices on display at CES 2018, while also unveiling some of their plans for upcoming devices planned for release throughout the rest of the year.
If you’re planning on attending this year’s CES, it will take place between January 9th and January 12th. For more information on Mad Catz and their upcoming gaming gear, feel free to hit up the official Mad Catz website.
