Santa Monica Studio Will Detail More About God Of War This January

Want a better picture or idea as to what the new God of War will bring? Santa Monica Studio has partnered up with another publication site to bring gamers “exclusive” interviews and concept art pertaining to the PS4 action-adventure title.

Santa Monica Studio and Game Informer have announced that they will bring forth exclusive God of War information, and then some, for the publication’s February cover story.

Just as a clarification, the February cover story will bring all things God of War related information via Santa Monica Studio even throughout the month of January.

Furthermore, the publication site posted in regards to the cover story that…

“For our February cover story, we visited Santa Monica Studio to play God of War ourselves, diving into the combat to see how Kratos’ new array of gear and abilities change the battlefield. We interviewed the team about reimagining the God of War formula, bringing players closer to the action, and how Kratos’ relationship with his son manifests in gameplay. Whether you’re a newcomer to the series or an old fan, you’ll want to learn all about this epic journey through Norse mythology.”

If you happen to be interested In Game Informer and the upcoming God of War game, exclusive features, interviews, and concept art will be posted on said site.

Moreover, with the upcoming game’s combat changing, Kratos taking up the new moniker of “Dad of War” and seemingly dropping a certain type of mini-game featured throughout the series of titles, according to the ESRB rating, it will be interesting to see how fans will take to this game.

Sadly, we won’t know how the upcoming God of War game will turn out and perform until it drops for public consumption, which at the moment the game has no specific release date yet. In the meantime you can watch the new “Exclusive Coverage Trailer” below.
