Bandai Namco has posted up a new SoulCalibur VI gameplay trailer showing off the teased character Grøh, as well as familiar characters that have returned like Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik. SoulCalibur VI is set to release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Not too long ago it was teased that a third character would show up in the roster of SoulCalibur VI, which has come to fruition in this new trailer showing the dual-bladed warrior known as Grøh.
Following this new character named Grøh comes that of returning characters of the franchise like Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik.
If you are unfamiliar with the three — Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik — the former uses heavy attacks that are somewhat slow but packs a lot of damage if landed correctly. This character fights ruthlessly.
As for Xianghua, she fights with grace and speed to best her opponents. This can be see throughout the video as she utilizes her opponents to pull off various physical and weapon-based attacks in an attempt to claim victory.
Kilik, the last character featured in the video, sports a staff that can be used to keep distance between his counterpart(s). This character is a bit stationary as seen above, but can be dangerous if you know how to use him.
If you want to see all four characters and how they look through concept art and in-game, newly posted screenshots show off the above characters right here.
So far, the rumors have been 100% accurate in that Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik would make a return, let’s just see if Taki, Talim, Voldo, Ivy and the other rumored characters will fill in the growing roster.
