King Art Games Announce RTS Game Iron Harvest Kickstarter Date

The alternate WW1-like mecha RTS game by King Art Games, Iron Harvest, will head to Kickstarter. The Kickstarter date for Iron Harvest is set for March 13th. If the crowdfunding drive is successful the actual game itself will debut across PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

If you have no idea as to what Iron Harvest has to offer two videos by King Art Games show a glimpse of the upcoming RTS title. The first video takes up the act of teasing what Iron Harvest aims to be, while the second video shows off tech, controls and physics.

Looks promising? If so, the game will head to PC and home consoles sometime in 2019 according to various videos on King Art Games YouTube channel. However that date could be pushed back. To help development along and secure a stable release the devs have announced a Kickstarter run.

The platform, Kickstarter, is known to be abused for all the wrong reasons and holds an infamous record depending on who you talk to. Contrary to the controversies, the platform has also helped many games through development; but time will tell how Iron Harvest’s March 13th, 2018 Kickstarter run will go.

In the meantime, you can check out the newly posted “Kickstarter Announcement” trailer that reveals the aforementioned date.

Eager fans of said genre who anticipate Iron Harvest at this point will have to suffice with what’s provided of the RTS game, given that the devs have not released an actual gameplay video showing in-game footage yet. The teaser trailer and the tech demo stand as a form of partial gameplay, but I’m sure the devs will elaborate more on gameplay mechanics and footage around March 13th, 2018.

More information on Iron Harvest, which is set to release sometime in 2019, and the devs behind it, King Art Games, can be further researched by visiting kingart-games.com.
