Antigraviator Playable Demo Will Appear At SXSW March 15th

Belgian gaming studio Cybernetic Walrus and Iceberg Interactive announced that Antigraviator, the upcoming futuristic racing game for home consoles and PC, will be playable for the first time for the general public at this year SXSW set to take place in Austin, Texas at the American Legion-Charles Johnson House between March 15th and March 17th.

Whether you’re a game journalist, a content creator, media influencer or just a general member of the public, you’ll be able to get some hands on time with Antigraviator at the gaming booth #1509.
You’ll only have three days to test out the game if you happen to be in that neck of the woods.

As for the game itself, it’s a fast-paced futuristic racer themed around taking wide turns at blurring speeds, and attempting to out race your opponents in sleek looking hover jets. You can check out the teaser trailer below if you haven’t seen it already.

The game is blazingly fast, not unlike Shin’en Multimedia’s Fast Racing Neo. There are also power-ups and boosts available to help give you an edge or to retain your edge during a race, not unlike Quantum Redshift.

The anti-gravity racing title will likely appeal to gamers who enjoyed titles like Redout or Wipeout. In addition to the single-player racing challenges present in the game, Cybernetic Walrus will also have a robust multiplayer component present as well, including online competitive multiplayer modes and offline split-screen modes.

Additionally, those manage to play through the online ranked modes and climb their way up the leaderboard charts will unlock special ranked skins.

Antigraviator also takes cues from Nintendo’s F-Zero, allowing you to unlock parts and ships through the single-player mode that you can use in the other modes.

The game will feature four different sci-fi worlds to race across, each with three tracks.

You can wishlist the game right now over on the Steam store or you can check out a playable demo of Antigraviator if you’re in the Austin area during this year’s SXSW.
