Ace Combat fans thirsty for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown news will find next to nothing about the game in any recent news feeds, but there might be a glimmer of hope with a new job listing that hints at Ace Combat 04, 5, and Zero possibly being remastered for multiple platforms, including the PS4 and Xbox One.
Notice: The following information should be taken as a rumor given that it is a job listing that could be for something else. Bandai Namco has not confirmed any of the following information, therefore take this read with a grain of salt.
While we wait for Bandai Namco to reveal more information on Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, there may be something to sate folks who are hungry for info. Not too long ago came that of a job listing looking for people to remaster older titles in the series of Ace Combat.
The games in question that are rumored to be remastered consist of Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War.

The job listing under the magnifying glass seeks someone with consumer game project management experience and seeks a director assistance / planner support at a software quality assurance company on Mid-Tenshoku. Additionally, this is said to tie-in with the tweet (above):
Experience in managing a team of at least 15 people for a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One multiplatform project, or equivalent debugging management experience.
Someone who can understand the client’s intentions and communicate well.
Someone who can keep up attendance.
Someone with deep knowledge of the PS2 titles Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War. (For example, someone who can have a discussion such as, ‘the content of mission [blank] in Ace Combat 04 was like this,’ ‘it was / is cleared like this,’ etc.)
Would you like to see Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War on newer systems?
