Crazy Justice Video Reveals Split-Screen Mode For Nintendo Switch’s First Battle Royale Game

Developer Black Riddles Studio released the first split-screen footage for their upcoming Battle Royale game for the Nintendo Switch, Crazy Justice. The video update showcases the developer’s progress on implementing split-screen play for the multiplayer survival game for the Nintendo Switch.

The video doesn’t show off much, but it does showcase the progress of the split-screen feature in the upcoming game.

You can see what the gameplay is like so far, with the split-screen running in the mobile mode on the Switch.

This is actually quite significant for a few reasons. First of all, running split-screen in the portable mode at decent frame-rates is a huge step for the developer in the optimization department. As many of you know, the hardest part about the Switch’s optimization pass is getting games to run at decent frames in the portable mode. And so far they seem to be on the right path both with split-screen and in the portable mode.

Additionally, gamers will be able to play Crazy Justice via cross-platform with the Switch, Xbox One and PC gamers.

I wonder if they will support touch-screen aiming? They do mentio nthat there will be HD Rumble and motion control support, which is fantastic, because motion-control aiming will give Switch players an even playing field when going against keyboard and mouse players.

Crazy Justice will support up to 20 different heroes, each with their own special skills and customizable skill decks. Much like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or Fortnite, you’ll face off against 99 other players in a survival Battle Royale mode. If you play two-player split-screen in the online mode, you’ll be facing off against 98 other players.

Alternatively there’s a four-player cooperative mode for the story mode outside of the Battle Royale mode.

The game also supports a building and upgrade system, along with cover and hiding mechanics.

Crazy Justice was originally funded on Fig back in late 2017 for $58,000. They have plans on releasing the game during the second quarter of 2018 during the summer. For more info feel free to visit the official website.
