Firefighter And Professional Construction Sims Coming Soon To Nintendo Switch

UIG Entertainment announced that Firefighters: The Simulation, Firefighters: Airport Fire Department and Professional Construction: The Simulation are all coming to the Nintendo Switch as worldwide releases…. soon.

The announcement for the games was accompanied by very scant details, other than that the suggested price for both the retail and digital distribution will be €39,99. The games will launch for a global audience, however, and if things go over well enough they have plans on launching more titles for the Switch, soon.

At the moment the games have recently been approved for release and are currently going through the submission and certification process, which will finalize the development checklist for getting the games onto Nintendo’s hybrid console.

Some of the titles from UIG just recently came out late last year in December for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, the press release did not come with any Nintendo Switch assets, but there is a trailer from last year showcasing some of the gameplay running on the Switch, which you can check out below, courtesy of Nintendo Galaxy.

As you can see, the games will take place in sandbox-style environments where players will have to race to a fire and put it out before too much damage is caused.

UIG’s titles are based around real rescue vehicles that players will operate as they attempt to complete the missions and snuff out the blazes like the Dixie Chicks’ career was snuffed out following their anti-war sentiments.

I have no idea how well these new UIG games will do on the Switch, but the company has had a sketchy and spotted past when it comes to the quality of their simulation games.

I suspect more details will arrive about the gameplay and portability once the certification process is complete. Until then, gamers will just have to keep an eye out for the upcoming release of the Switch version of UIG’s simulation titles.
