11 Bit Studios’ Frostpunk has been a sleeper hit right out of the gate. The city management game is a throwback to classic strategy games from the olden days of PC gaming. However, due to its challenging structure and old-school design, a lot of gamers have been having trouble getting through the early days of Frostpunk. Well, don’t worry because there are some cheats to help you out.

There’s a free cheat trainer for Frostpunk that you can download from over on the Mr. Antifun forum.

The cheat trainer contains seven cheats, all very useful. You can check them out below:

  • Infinite Coal
  • Infinite Wood
  • Infinite Steel
  • Infinite Steam Cores
  • Infinite Raw Food
  • No Generator Stress
  • Fast Research

The only caveat to the cheat trainer is that if you decide to use the fast research cheat, you’ll need to cancel any current research that you have going on, otherwise the cheat won’t work. So first activate the cheat and then begin the research.

Everything else is pretty self-explanatory, especially if you need that early boost to get the resources up and running so you can start the generator and keep people warm and happy.

There’s a second cheat trainer available for Frostpunk that you can download from

Frostpunk is a no-holds-barred strategy game that is painfully unforgiving. You can make one good mistake and it can set you up for the failure of a lifetime. Essentially the game punishes you for not thinking two steps ahead, and rewards you handsomely for being a forward thinking strategist.

There’s a lot of risk/reward style gameplay involved, especially when it comes to dealing with civil unrest and attempting to grow your industrially fueled city.

Early user reviews are almost all universally positive thanks to the game’s sleek UI, visually captivating aesthetic, and the entire premise of a frost-ridden apocalyptic scenario where a majority of humanity has been wiped out.

If you want to get in on the action you can do so by picking up a digital copy from the Steam store or get your hands on a DRM-free version from the Frostpunk store page on
