If you’re a fan of martial arts flicks there’s a new short film that was released featuring all of your favorite movie martial artists in one place. It stars the very unlikely hero character of Taiji, played by none other than Alibaba Group’s co-founder, Jack Ma.

Yes, Jack Ma goes through and battles against every single one of the major martial artists in short matches within a 22 minute short film. There’s a seven minute promo trailer that showcases some of the action. If you were hoping to see Jason Statham versus Donnie Yen or Jet Li versus Tony Jaa, you’re out of luck. However, you will get to see Jack Ma go up against all of the aforementioned superstar martial artists.

While I wasn’t sure what to expect from the short film, it sets itself up where Jack Ma ventures around challenging famous martial arts movie stars, MMA fighters and sumo wrestlers. The choreography is actually way above par. I didn’t think a billionaire would be capable of throwing hands with the likes of Donnie Yen, but the sequences are far more impressive than I would have imagined.

Ma seems to be capable of at least matching movements and techniques with some of the best movie martial artists of all time, including but not limited to Wu Jing (also known as Jacky Wu, who just came off the biggest Chinese movie of all time, Wolf Warrior 2), Tony Jaa, and Hong Kong film icon Jet Li.

The only person missing from the line-up is Jackie Chan.

As some of the commenters joked, maybe the next short film we’ll see Bill Gates taking on all of the members of The Expendables. I suppose the big difference is that Jack Ma appears to have some legitimate martial arts skills, or the choreography is so darn good that it makes up for whatever skills he lacks in real life.

I wonder if we’ll be seeing Jack Ma in full length feature films from now on or if he’ll settle for having matched fists with some of the best in the business?
