Rockstar Games have taken to social media and their official website to let the word out in advanced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will gain a third trailer on May 2nd. No further information on the trailer has been released by Rockstar Games, which means the trailer could be about anything.
Rockstar Games have been very quiet about Red Dead Redemption 2 in that very little is known about the forthcoming Wild West game. What is know at the moment is Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to the 2010 Red Dead Redemption title.
Furthermore, eager fans looking to know what might be in store for them will likely find morsels of information in the newly announced May 2nd trailer. However, and ahead of May 2nd, we have nothing more than an announcement of an announcement for the game.
You can read over the new message on rockstargames.com, which is accompanied by a tweet showing a GIF of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the date and time when the third trailer will appear:
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems on October 26, 2018.”
— Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) April 30, 2018
Taking a look over to the rumor mill, some fans believe the third trailer will be about Red Dead Redemption 2’s online mode(s), while others think the trailer will be like the last two trailers. However it goes, time will tell since we only have less than two days to go before it is showcased.
In the meantime, though, Red Dead Redemption 2 will not release for PC when it makes its debut later this year. The Wild West action-adventure game, as noted above, will instead release for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th.
