Sergey Dvoynikov and Alexey Davydov’s Train Valley 2 is currently in Early Access on Steam. The game managed to find itself a sizable niche audience, giving gamers a lighthearted train simulation and management game. If you’ve picked up a copy of the title and are looking for some cheats, there is a cheat trainer available.
You can download the trainer for Train Valley 2 from over on the Megadev.info page.
The cheat trainer contains the following cheats:
Reset Level Timer
Challenge 1 Achieved
Challenge 2 Achieved
Very Fast Trains
Very Slow Trains
The money cheats are essential for those of you who don’t want to grind out for some surplus coin, or have to deal with balancing your books.
There is a trick to getting the cheats to work properly, however. You will need to run the game unpaused for at least one second and use the “Prepare for cheats” mode to activate it. Otherwise the cheats won’t work properly.
Hilariously enough, there’s also a premium trainer available over on Cheat Happens.
What makes it so funny is that the premium trainer only has one cheat: add money.
I’m not entirely sure what happened that caused the premium trainer to actually have less features than the free trainer, but it is what it is. Train Valley 2 originally entered into Early Access at the end of March, this past spring. The developers have plans on keeping the game in Early Access for the next year. So don’t expect the finished version until spring of 2019.
The game features typical tycoon-management gameplay, where you must manage your railroad company and build it into a cross-country empire during the Industrial Revolution. You’ll need to gather supplies, manage your resources, keep from going into debt while building out your railroad line.
