Ubisoft Will Further Support Ghost Recon Wildlands With Year 2 Content

Ubisoft is looking to extend support for Ghost Recon Wildlands, and it seems like there’s still a player base around given the newly announced year 2 content planned for the 2017 open world shooter. Ghost Recon Wildlands is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Whatever your thoughts may be on Ghost Recon Wildlands, there’s no denying the fact that Ubisoft is supporting the open world shooter with plenty of content. Not only will this content hit the multiplayer side of things, the campaign will see updates too.

The news  was revealed over on the  news.ubisoft.com, whereupon the post walks through content to come in the first part of year 2, and teases the following content planned for gamers.

The first batch, which I’m sure houses more content than listed below, will drop on April 10th. If you want to know what is currently brewing at the moment you can check out the newly posted video.

Features that year 2 will bring revolve around PvE experiences, Ghost War PvP updates, and fan requested features. In other words, if you happen to be a fan of the single-player mode or the multiplayer competitive side, the bevy of year 2 updates should have you covered.

The reason behind Ubisoft showing support to Wildlands is due to the game’s first year response, bringing in more than 10 million players worldwide. Something that’s not detailed is concurrent players or what peak player count looks like, which is absent from the blog post.

The post wraps up with a pass for extra content. You will be able to purchase a Year 2 pass for $29.99, and if you’re willing to cough up that price you’ll gain seven-days of early access to the new Ghost War classes as well as a customization pack, four Special Ops crates, and four Ghost War crates.

New and existing players will gain access to the year 2 content come April 10th, but if you want to stay up to date on all things Wildlands you can visit news.ubisoft.com.
